July 25 -- Allie turns 7!

Our spunky little Allie celebrated her 7th birthday July 25th. She requested a lemon flavored flip flop cake. Perfect pick for a summer birthday and a girl who lives in flip flops.

The cake also had lemon cream cheese frosting.

She was happy to have her cousins; Hailee, Jace, and Landon join us for cake and ice cream. Grandma and Grandpa Hyde also dropped by for a little while.

Make a wish......and blow!

Allie has wanted a turtle for a long time. We promised her one a couple birthdays ago but didn't want to get her one until we were a little more settled. She finally got her wish, an ornate wood turtle named "Peekaboo". She already had a name picked out for when she finally got one. Allie has done a great job taking care of him. (We call him a him but don't know for sure :) He loves to eat grapes and carrots. All the kids like taking turns holding him and playing with him outside. He is still a little bashful but seems to be getting used to all the attention.

Allie also got a princess necklace from grandma and grandpa, a fun sidewalk chalk with stencils and lip glosses from Rob's family, a love dollar from great grands Putnam, some fun Skechers tennis shoes and 2 books from ('A Book' and 'The Rabbit and the Turtle') from us. Overall, I think she had a happy day. We love you, Allie!!
