House 12/19

Another day's work.

Christmas Candy

I spent most of yesterday making candy. I made 7 different kinds plus fondant to try to dip some chocolates today. Here are a couple of the plates I put together. I think I also did 7 loads of laundry as well. It was a busy day.

Journee's Choir Concert

Journee had her first middle school concert last night. She had a solo. She did a beautiful job. We were really proud of her. She is the last person on the very top right in the picture. I wish I could have gotten closer.

The Package

All the lumber for the rest of the house (the package) arrived yesterday about 7:30am. Dad and a couple of other guys helped Gerry unload the 2 trucks. The basement walls are going up. This is the progress as of 1:00pm yesterday.

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Yesterday was Kyle's 9th birthday. As you can see he wanted a game cube cake. This was a new challenge for me. It was fun to do something completely new though. Ger and I took him to Billings with us Saturday. We only took him and Talon. It was a nice day and different to just have boys with us. Kyle shares his birthday with his cousin, Tamsyn, so happy birthday to her, too!

Moving Dirt

This the hole for our house. The footings were poured yesterday and the walls are being set today. Thought it might be fun to document the progress here.

Azurdey and Talon

I can't believe how big both of these two have gotten. They are the ones at home with me during the day. Talon is now 4 1/2 months old. Azurdey is 2 1/2 years and the busiest toddler I know. She even out does Jada at her age, and that says a lot. :-)

Elementary Christmas Program

Karlee, Allie, and Kyle had their Christmas program on Tuesday night. The girls sang with their grades and Kyle's grade put on a play. It was a spoof on Survivor with santa playing to earn money to make all the toys this year. Kyle was Santa. Here he is beardless. He did a good job. They all did.

Halloween

I thought I'd go back a little to include a pic of Halloween. We only saw Journee long enough to snap a couple of pictures, then she was off with her friends. This was the first time we have let her go like that. It made me a little nervous. I can't believe how 'grown-up' she has become.
We had a fun night.

Let's Begin!

Hi everyone! I have been wanting to get this up and going for a long time now. I so enjoy everyone elses. I am not all that great with words so it won't be near as clever as some, but it sure is a fun way to share photos and keep updated with friends and family.
