Fall Fun

Saturday we continued with tradition and took the day to enjoy the autumn colors. We took a little jaunt and went to Ten Sleep canyon. It is so beautiful there, especially this time of the year. We wandered around, took pictures, had a picnic and just enjoyed being outdoors together. On our walk we found a couple of apple trees that were loaded. They were really yummy and the kids munched and munched. I am surprised we didn't have any tummy aches on the way home. They filled their jackets with all the apples they would hold and packed them back to the suburban. It was such a beautiful day. The sun was shining bright and there was just enough nip in the air. Lovely smells, lovely sights, and lovely company.
As we were loading up to head home the wind started up and blew in the cold and the snow. It made for a cozy Sunday morning and perfect for turning all those apples into delicious treats. We made apple bars and carmeled apples in between watching conference.
The family picture below is from Saturday. I took a bunch more of the kids that I will post later when I have more time.
