Saturday we decided to take a break from the heat and enjoy some time together. Gerry has been working from sunrise and then into the morning hours on the house and the kids are starting to miss him. He worked on the house until 1 and then we headed up the mountain for a picnic. It was nice and cool and we all had really good time. I think the kids needed the break as much as Ger and I did. We had some left over smoke bombs from the 4th and they all had fun dancing in the smoke. They are pretty grungy in the pictures but what kind of a picnic would it be without the dirt and grime.

Cute pics, they made me wish we were having a picnic with you guys. You guys always think of such fun things to do as a family and I know your kids love that you let them be kids and get dirty and just enjoy themselves.
